Katie Finger-Girardi is a fully certified Pilates instructor in both Pilates Mat classes and classes on Pilates equipment. She received her training through the Physical Mind Institute, and was taught by some of the industry's top experts at the Movements A Foot studio in New York City. Her professional dance career began with training at the Hilton Head Dance School, which led her to discover Pilates and the benefits Pilates brings to all who try it. Katie specializes in Sport-Specific Pilates training and is certified to teach Pilates for Golf.

Lynne Riggs Anderson is a certified Pilates instructor in Pilates Mat, Private Pilates Reformer Training and Equipment Classes. After practicing Pilates and yoga for many years, she received her teacher training through Balanced Body University on Hilton Head, SC and in Asheville, NC with nationally known Pilates professional Jennifer Gianni. Lynne teaches energetic, fitness-oriented Equipment and Mat Classes and specializes in introducing people of all ages and fitness levels to the Reformer.

Trainers

Sherri Smith is one of Hilton Head's premier trainers. With nearly 15 years experience in the professional fitness business and numerous national and international certifications, Sherri added Pilates to her repertoire in 2002 and now incorporates the foundations of the practice into nearly all her client workouts. Her certifications include Pilates Mat and Reformer, Kane School 2002; Small Apparatus in Pilates 2004; Balanced Body Mat 2007; June Kahn Circle through Fitness Mania 2003; Certified Personal Trainer AFPA 1998; Certified Nutrition AFPA 2002; Reebok Spin 2000 and Johnny G 2006.

Debi Rosica is a long-time Hilton Head resident with a passion for Pilates. After a 10-year personal practice both on the Mat and Reformer, she became Mat I- and Mat II-certified through Balanced Body University, Summer 2008. Debi specializes in Beginner Mat Pilates, with a focus on fitness and stretching.

Karen Verechia is a certified and registered Yoga Alliance Instructor through the Asheville Yoga Center. Karen continued her yoga education in Costa Rica, where she attended a Thai Yoga Certification Retreat. Known for her passionate and inspirational style of teaching, she blends flow style yoga with concise alignment and provides individualized attention with specific exercise modifications. Karen also teaches a college course in yoga at University of South Carolina — Beaufort. She brings an athletic background, an artistic spirit and a desire to balance effort with ease on and off the yoga mat. Karen is certified to instruct group and private sessions in all forms of yoga — Power, Vinyasa Flow, Gentle, Hot, Beginner's, Prenatal and Teen. She teaches with love, laughter and acceptance, while emphasizing breath, alignment and body awareness.

Suzette Springer started her fitness and performance career in New York City and Southern Connecticut in the late ‘70s. What began with dance and acrobatics, lead to teaching at a number of top fitness studios, which included Body Design By Gilda and Body By Jake. Her well-honed balance of physical fitness and performance art skills bring a unique variety of disciplines to her clients and classes. Suzette is experienced and certified by the Kane School in New York, Stott Pilates, Zumba, AFPA and WaterArt, and is a member of IDEA. Her passion for teaching, coaching and personal training, along with her personal approach, bring better health and positive body awareness to her clientele.
